I Just Finsihed an Online BLS Course from another Provider, but it was not am American Heart Association Course. Can I do an AHA Skills Check?
No. We cannot do the skills check-off for online courses that are not AHA courses.
When am I going to get my Completion card after I complete my course?
All completion card will be received within an hour of course completion via email. Please remember to claim your card. To do so follow these steps How to Claim Your AHA eCard Check your inbox for an email from "ecards@heart.org". Please note the email may be in your SPAM or Junk folder. Open the email and click on the provided link “Click here to view your online eCard”. You will then be directed to the AHA eCard Student Landing. On this page, you will need to select your own security question and type an answer into the boxes provided. Click the circle next to “I Agree to the Terms of Use”. Click “Submit”. You will then be directed to the AHA eCard Student Survey Details. On this page, you will complete the course survey. Once you have completed the survey click “Submit”. You will then be directed to your current eCard. From this page, you can click “Print” to print a copy of your eCard. Please note eCards are not intended to be carried in your wallet. They are now accessible 24/7 online at www.heart.org/cpr/mycards, and eCards can also be stored on your smartphone for 24/7 access.
Can I take a renewal or update course if my current card is expired?
A valid current provider card is required to take a renewal or update course, however for AHA courses we may allow you to take your tests the same day instead of coming back the next day for testing. A copy of your expired card will be required to make this arrangement.
Who can take the American Heart Association skills course only?
You must first take the AHA online course for Heartsaver, BLS, ACLS, and PALS to take the skill session only. You will be required to bring your Photo ID and Valid AHA Online Completion Certificate
Do I need a Textbook for AHA Skills Sessions only?
NO, you are not required to being a textbook to class for skills session only. you just need to bring your Photo ID and Valid AHA Online Completion Certificate
Are your BLS ACLS or PALS Courses approved by the AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION ?
Absolutely Yes!. you will receive an American Heart Association Provider Completion Card that is good for two years.
What are the requirements to take the ACLS or PALS Courses?
Yes. Ideally, the ACLS and PALS courses are designed for advanced healthcare providers. you will need either current BLS card or be able to correctly perform the skills of CPR prior to taking this course. you will also be required to know how to read EKG rhythms and you need to know some pharmacology. Clinical experience is not required but recommended or recently graduated from Nursing School or Paramedic School.
I took the American Heart Association Course but I lost my card?
If you took the course with Roxell EMT you can email us to replace your card. If you took the course with another training center you'll need to contact them, or you can register for one of our courses and obtain a new card. Does the eBooks come with a reference card like the print edition does ?
The eBook includes an electronic version of the reference card.
Can I print this eBook ?
American Heart Association eBooks are not intended to be printed. Printing and copying restrictions apply.
How do I redeem my eBook access codes after I receive them?
Instructions for redemption will be e-mailed to you along with the access codes. (Please be sure to include an e-mail address when you order.)

WILL I BE TAUGHT EKG WITH ACLS/PALS COURSE
ACLS and PALS Courses does now teach EKG because you are expected to know how to read basic EKG for the ACLS and PALS Course.
