Prerequisites: You must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association to take this course or be able to demonstrate High-quality BLS.
American Heart Association Requires each Student to have a textbook in class to take this course.
Students registered for Initial Certification are required to pick up books prior to the class date and take the Pre-Course Assessment Test. Hardcover Textbooks can be picked up at our Katy Freeway Locations or we can mail it to you at an additional cost of $5.99 via USPS.
ECG and Pharmacology course is not taught in PALS classes. Therefore consider ECG and Pharmacology Pre-course if you are not confident in these skills.
*Please wear comfortable clothes and covered toes shoes. You will be practicing skills that require kneeling, bending, standing, and possible lifting.
